I realise that it is not long since I last contacted you all but you may recall that I did refer to a major review of our Statutes under the Chair of Gabriele Tridenti and his Working Party.
Our Secretary General Zoran Stankovic will also be contacting you personally as we now have pleasure in attaching the draft Statutes along with the current version which were slightly amended in 2016. This is a much larger overhaul of the Statutes including the introduction of regional representation on the Board and greater flexibility with voting at the General Assembly. As the photograph shows I am sharing the new Statutes with you under the watchful eye of the new FIGIJ banners we have created for global use. I hope you approve!
We are implementing a three-month consultation period prior to an electronic vote and the hopeful adoption of the 2020 Statutes.
Please do provide your feedback to Gabriele at [email protected]. We are accepting feedback from National Societies so please first liaise with your national PAG Society who can collate your comments before submission. Those of you who are individual members of FIGIJ may also provide feedback on an individual basis.
